Nikki has always specialised in Animal Studies through the delicate medium of pastel/water colour for which she has received International recognition. She has exhibited at the Mall Galleries, London, in the wild life and pastel exhibitions. For several years Holland and Holland commissioned her images some of which were used on their famous guns. Additionally, she supplied dog originals to the Michael Stewart Galleries.
In recent years she has exhibited regularly and sold at the Marwell International Wildlife Art Exhibition and in 2012 won runner up to the BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year in one of their MIWAS categories.
Nikki’s work has been used by several publishers, including Rosenstiels, Soloman and Whitehead, Castlebar Graphics, Sally Mitchell, Corinium Fine Arts, and Milkwood Publishing for limited edition prints, open prints and greetings cards.
Whether it is the domestic pet, a big cat or a dashing wild horse, Nikki recreates the very personality of the animal she paints. She is famous for the distinctive hallmark of her beautiful and intricate works. She has been established as an Artist in her own right for over forty years.
For many years Nikki demonstrated her commissions of pet portraits in the windows of the Frame Centre in both Guildford and Farnham. Currently her work is still available there.
